Tarantino IGP Primitivo

Area of production: Apulia, Maruggio, Sava, Manduria.
Grape variety: Primitivo.
Maturation period: mid September.
Maximum production per hectare: kg. 3.000/5.000 grapes due to the fact that they are left drying on the plant for a short period.
Vinification and fining: maceration at a temperature of 26-28°C for 12/15 days to attain a great structure, an excellent balance between anthocyans and tannins and a great sugar residual.
Colour: intense ruby red with carnet reflexes.
Nose: intense scent of wild berries, spicy.
Taste: sweet, harmonious and velvety.
Serving temperature: 18-20°C.
Serving suggestions: dessert wine, to accompany cakes, cookies and also cheese.
