Valle d’Itria IGP Verdeca
Area of production: Valle d’Itria.
Grape variety: Verdeca.
Maturation period: late September.
Maximum production per hectare: kg. 8.000 grapes.
Vinification and fining: crushing and soft pressing of the mush. Natural must clarification. Fermentation at controlled temperature (16/18°C); ageing in steel vats.
Appearance: straw yellow with brilliant greenish glints.
Nose: surprising for its olfactory range with white peach, hawthorn and toasted almonds.
Palate: slender, fresh, sapid and balanced.
Serving temperature: 8-10°C.
Serving suggestions: perfect aperitif, or to accompany fish and light dishes.
